The Basic CPR and AED course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult victims. Rescuers will learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack, stroke and breathing difficulties. Students also how to perform CPR using a barrier device and how to effectively use AED (Automated External Defibrillation).
